We the representatives of United American Muslim Association, we strongly condemn the terrorist attacks that killed 12 people, including law enforcement and journalists, at the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, and two at the Istanbul Police Department in Turkey.

These ugly and cowardly attacks in Paris, France and Istanbul, Turkey remind us again that the threat of terrorism remains all too real and it is a reminder that the world must stand up against all terrorism, because in the end no one is safe until terrorism itself is rejected and combated in all its manifestations.

We the representatives of United American Muslim Association, Turkish based , Faith Mosque and our entire congregation has and will continue to publicly and emphatically condemn terrorists and terrorism. UAMA reminds that we must be careful, not to associate terrorists with the peaceful people of Islam. Our distress is that no one should associate Islam and hundreds of millions of Muslims throughout the world, with a small group of fanatics, hate merchants who profess to be members of our Islamic faith. These monsters cannot be Muslim, even human. Terrorist only follow the devil incarnate, whose insane philosophy of hated is vehemently opposed and condemn by our Turkish Muslim community. The truth is that killing innocent people is always wrong — and no argument or excuse, no matter how deeply believed, can ever make it right. No religion on earth condones the killing of innocent people; no faith or tradition tolerates the random killing on this earth. We feel a crime perpetrated in the name of religion, is the greatest crime against religion.

We call on the swift and unconditional condemnations by mainstream French Muslim leaders should be highlighted and should focus anger and blame where they belong – on the terrorists and their sympathizers, who oppose freedom of speech, freedom of press, and freedom of religion. In all her contacts at multilateral, regional and bilateral levels, the Republic of Turkey our motherland has been stressing in the strongest terms since 1970 that terrorism should be condemned regardless of its sources and pretexts, and be considered as a crime against humanity. Turkey and our community have always underlined the vital importance of effective international and grass root cooperation in the fight against terrorism. All acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation.

The threat of terrorism affects all of our communities, regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. We must remain vigilant against those who wish to do us all harm. We must stand with unity and with vigilance to counter terrorist threats and thugs who only have hate as their mission. The struggle against thugs and hate merchants who have No Religion , NO Flag, who support terrorism, must and will continue against Terror, so that peace-living people may live in peace and harmony against HATE MERCHANTS.

We extend condolences to the families of the victims in Paris and Istanbul.

We stand in solidarity with the people of Paris, France during these difficult moments.
